If you are sending a QuickBooks file, it is best to send a Portable Company File, rather than a Backup file. Portable files can be made within QuickBooks by going to File--> Save Copy or Backup OR Create Copy--> and choosing Portable Company File. This file type is smaller and will transmit more quickly. Your tax preparer may request that you send an Accountant Transfer File. Please call us if you need assistance with this process.
